So its official: Sophia Rae is keeping cozy and will be here this fall. Now that the Pink flood gates have opened...I have anew found respect to all of those moms I may have judged in the past. The idea of pink 'vomit' never appealled to me until now. Hubbs and I always SWORE we would never have pink EVERYTHING, now it seems daddy dearest is vowing to put his little princess on a throne...a pink throne! We originally agreed to paint the room a baby blue with pink accessories...NOT SO MUCH NOW! Its only pink, and he will not hear of anything else. I am choosing my battles as I dont think I mind a pink room (SOFT PINK) and I do get to choose the shade of pink so off to home depot we go tonight!!
While we are on the subject of her majesty...I am having a christening gown made from my wedding dress, I wanted to have one done for Dom too but with all of my unforeseen health issues at the time, it never happened. I am basing the style off of this dress, but no squares...just my material. Additionally she is going to have a tie made for my little prince so he coordinates with his sister. I know, corny but these are my only babies and I EARNED THE RIGHT!!!
