Back with the best of intentions

So it has been quite a while, the past few years have been a challange to say the least, but the clouds are lifting and life is moving forward.  As a family we have changed, we are now a party of four and have two new pooches...the dane and the black lab.  My husband refers to them as UG and LY.  They are both beautiful but their puppiness can make the house well UGLY...

Careers have changed as well.  No longer in the construction undustry, I have spent the last few years completing my degree in nutrition.  It has been a bucket list thing for a while and with the push of a person who at one time was very dear to me, I made the plunge and enrolled in college.  My grades were awesome and I enjoyed it very much.  The satisfaction of completion was UNBELIEVABLE.  Sadly the person who encouraged me is no longer in my life and although I will always be greatful for the time they were, the fact is things happen beyond even my control (shocking i know) and I will hold them near and dear forever.

My dear boy is growing so quickly these days and is less and less the baby I knew and is maturing into a young man.  I enjoy watching the process of his growth and his brain developing as he learns new skills and lessons in life.  I am so proud of his being I cant even put it into words.  He is the light of my life.

My baby girl too is almost not a baby - almost, until there is a bug or a scary sound then she is the sweet little baby that needs the comfort of her mommy or daddy to keep scary things at bay.

The Hubbs is awesome, always patient and level headed, he keeps me grounded.  He has supported any move I have made and stuck by me during my darkest hour,  He may never understand how greatful I am to have him in my life especially the last few difficult years but I truly am.  No one is perfect (no not even me) but he will always be my rock no matter what.

well thats it for now, holiday weekend approaching and although it looks to be cold and rainy - any day spent with my family is sunny. : )
